Tea Product Review: Copco’s Tea Thermal
It’s National Hot Tea Month. What better time to review a tea product?
New products for preparing and enjoying tea are coming out everyday. Recently, I was asked if I wanted to try one of these products and, thinking it would be a good way to help out fellow tea drinkers, I said “Sure!” They let me choose which one to try, so I picked what I thought looked the most like something I could actually use, one way or another.
See how it all turned out. (I updated a couple of things on 30 Jan 2010 that were not accurate.)

Tea Book Review — “Cha Dao”
Jessica Kingsley Publishers were kind enough to offer me a chance to review their new book, Cha Dao: The Way of Tea, Tea as a Way of Life, by Solala Towler. Their free unedited galley copy arrived a short while ago. My thoughts are on The Taste of English Tea Blog.Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Have Bagged Teas Gotten a Bad Rap?
“Bag it!” may work at the grocery checkout line, but tea is another matter. For years I have avoided teabags as much as possible. However, recent events have prompted a little change of heart. See what I mean on The English Tea Blog.

Tea Experiment — Steeping Times
My tea experiment was inspired by Teaman Bruce in his taste note on Steepster posted in late December 2009. Thanks, Teaman! The experiment definitely shows that all you tea drinkers are going to have to do a bit of experimenting on your own to determine what suits your palate. See how mine turned out on The English Tea Store Blog.
The Assam I used in this experiment was the last of my bag of Mambi Assam. I can’t remember where I bought it, can’t find it online, and so settled for buying a box of Ahmad Assam to have on hand when the last of this one is done. I’m sure it will still be delicious, but will be sure to let you know either way.
